Honey Cake

Cream Filling:

Ingredients

  • 500g Dairy Cream 35%
  • 200g Sweetened Condensed Milk

Application

  • Whip the cream, add the condensed milk and mix slowly by hand

Honey Cake Sponge:

Ingredients

  • 1000g Benoit Honey Cake Mix
  • 350g Whole Eggs
  • 300g Vegetable Oil
  • 250g Water

Application

  • Mix all ingredients together for 3 – 4 min
  • Place in 2 x (60x40cm) tray
  • Baking temperature 230°C
  • Baking time 4 – 5 min

Assembly and Finishing

  1. After cooling, cut sponge into 6 layers
  2. Apply cream on all layers
  3. Cover the cake with honey powder made from roasted honey sponge
  4. Pipe some honey on top
